Who it’s for: Anyone already grabbing McDonald’s who wants a shot at free food, Rewards points, or bigger prizes — without chasing flippers or third-party hype.
McDonald’s Monopoly is live as of Oct 6, 2026. You peel game pieces off eligible menu items, scan them in the McDonald’s App, and unlock instant freebies plus collect-to-win and Chance Card prizes. Through Nov 1, each eligible item you buy in the app (or when you show your Rewards code at the kiosk, counter, or Drive Thru) also unlocks a Bonus Chance Card play — but only if you register for the game before you order. How to play
- Download the McDonald’s App and opt in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
- Register for Monopoly in the app (or via playatmcd.com) before you order if you want Bonus Chance Card plays.
- Buy an eligible menu item with a peel-off game piece (examples: Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Egg McMuffin, large fries, large hot or cold drinks — while supplies last).
- Peel the piece, then scan it in the app to redeem free food, Rewards points, properties, or Chance Card plays.
- For the Nov 1 bonus: purchase the eligible item through the McDonald’s App or show your Rewards code at kiosk/counter/Drive Thru after you’re already registered.
What you can win
- Instant-style wins (scan): free food (McChicken, Snack Wraps, McGriddles, shakes, smoothies, fries, and more) plus about 1,500–7,000 MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points.
- Collect-to-Win: 2027 Jeep Cherokee, Carnival Cruise vacations, Kennedy Space Center trip, Polaris vehicles, Hilton getaways, Best Buy shopping sprees, cash, and more.
- Chance Card prizes: gift cards (Best Buy, Circle K, DoorDash, Ulta, Uber Eats, and others), McDonald’s for a year, $50k toward a home down payment, $50k toward college debt, cash from $10k up to $1 million.

No purchase option
Official rules allow a mail-in game piece request (no purchase necessary; purchase will not improve chances of winning). Requests started Sept 22, 2026 for receipt by Nov 2, 2026 — see the current FAQ and Official Rules on playatmcd.com for the exact mailing address and limits. Most players will still use the purchase + peel + scan flow in the app.
