BIG BOX DEAL • AMAZON • Last checked: 2:41 PM CT, Oct 7, 2026
PC builders, this one is for you. Amazon has the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor for $142.49 as an exclusive Prime member deal, down from the $299 list price (52% off). That is a great price for a Zen 4 gaming chip that can boost up to 5.3 GHz.
Why it is worth grabbing:
- 6 cores and 12 threads for gaming, streaming and everyday multitasking
- Up to 5.3 GHz max boost clock
- Unlocked for overclocking
- Zen 4 architecture on the AMD Socket AM5 platform
- Built-in Radeon graphics, so you can boot and run a display without a graphics card
Before you buy: This is the CPU only. There is no cooler in the box, so plan on buying an air cooler or AIO. It also needs an AM5 motherboard and DDR5 memory. It will not work in older AM4 boards or with DDR4 RAM.
Heads up: This is a Prime-exclusive deal with a countdown timer that runs out around 2 AM CT on Oct 8. Deal prices can end early or sell out, so grab it while the price holds.
