🟢 IN-STORE WATCH · Last updated Oct 8, 2026
This is a good week to swing by a few stores if you collect trading cards. Lots of retailers are getting fresh shipments, from Pokémon 30th Celebration to One Piece and sports cards. Here’s where we’d look, store by store, plus a few other products worth keeping an eye out for.

Dollar General, Hobby Lobby & Ross
All three are confirmed to be getting Pokémon 30th Celebration products. They aren’t the first places most people think to check for cards, so add a quick look to your usual errands. For Hobby Lobby pricing, see our Hobby Lobby 30th Celebration ETB post.
Sam’s Club
Skip the online stock list this week. It hasn’t been matching what’s actually in clubs. Your best bet is to stop in and look for Pokémon Focus Fighters, the Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box and Poké Ball items. Clubs have been stocking these at random times around midday, sometimes more than once in the same day, so if you’re nearby, a daily look is worth it.
Costco
Warehouses are still getting Pokémon tins. Most locations put new items out when the doors open, so a morning stop gives you the best shot.
Best Buy
Card shipments at Best Buy arrive at random, same as always. One easy tip: if an item shows store pickup available at your location in the Best Buy app or on the website, there’s a good chance it’s in stock there. Recent restocks include One Piece OP-17 packs, some Pokémon 30th Celebration items and Riftbound booster boxes.
Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble & Other Regulars
Timing at these stores depends on each one’s vendor schedule, so it changes from location to location. Some stores now put cards out at a set time, and others use a line or ticket system. The simplest way to find out is to ask the staff at your store how they’re handling it.
Also Worth Watching
- Bowman Chrome Baseball
- Dragon Ball Super Fusion World ST01 sleeved booster packs
- Topps NBA, if you spot a restock
Quick Tips
- Stock varies a lot by location. One store can be full while the next one has nothing, so try more than one.
- Ask nicely. Store staff can often tell you which day cards usually come in.
- Check the shelf tag for the price before you head to the register.
We add new in-store finds to our In Store page throughout the week, so check back at carttactic.com before your next store run.
