2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Major League Soccer drops on Topps EQL today, Thursday, Oct 8 at 11 AM ET (10 AM CT) for $209.99 per box. Who it’s for: MLS and soccer collectors who want Sapphire Chrome finish, colored Sapphire parallels and a guaranteed auto in every box.
Sapphire takes the 2026 Topps Chrome MLS set and puts it on Sapphire stock, with names like Lionel Messi, Son Heung-Min, David Beckham, Antoine Griezmann and Robert Lewandowski alongside this year’s rookies. This year’s box is stripped down to three things: base cards (with colored Sapphire parallels), Infinite Sapphire, and Chrome Autographs. Pitch Prodigies, Fast Lane, Sapphire Selections and the Sapphire Selections auto variations from last year are gone. The checklist looks a lot like last year’s, maybe a little stronger. Production is about the same as last year at roughly 5,000 boxes, and retail went up $30. Heads up: the EQL launch link won’t work until a couple of minutes before the drop, so refresh it right before 11 AM ET.
